In the past incarnation of my business I lazily used coral beads in my jewelry designs despite the cascading harmful effects harvesting the organism from our oceans has on the waters, her critters (including us) and the global environment as a whole.

*I pledge to no longer purchase coral material for use in my designs. I WILL use the remainder of my coral bead stock which will last for some time (so as not to add waste to my sins), but going forward I will purchase alternative materials, including glass, ceramic and limestone coral.

I urge other jewelry artists, crafters and designers to take the same pledge.
